Levee upgrades expected from tax break

As a result of the economic development legislation championed by Representative Dennis Keene and signed by Governor Steve Beshear, Newport On The Levee will reinvest 100% of the proceeds from a tax incentive estimated at $2.5-3 million dollars over the next two years. The legislation requires the Levee to include a detailed accounting on how they reinvested those dollars.
