Young Dems Develop November Strategies

Please join the Kentucky Young Democrats and Col Owens "November Strategies" for a networking opportunity with Kentucky Young Democrats Alumni and support the Kentucky Young Democrats in their efforts to raise youth voter turnout and community involvement! 

This will be an opportunity for the KYD to share their plans for the 2010 and 2011 election cycles, as well as have dinner and learn from members of the Democratic community.

Key dates for Election 2010

Here are some key dates coming up for voters:

• Aug. 10 is the filing deadline for many local offices in smaller cities as well as school boards.
• Oct. 4 is the last day to register to vote in the general election. Kentucky does not have same-day voter registration.
• Oct. 26 is the last day to apply for a mail-in absentee ballot.

• Nov. 2 is Election Day. Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
