Key dates for Election 2010
Here are some key dates coming up for
voters:
- April 19 is the last day to register
to vote in the May primary.
- May 11 is the last day to apply for
mail-in absentee ballots.
- May 18 is the primary election day.
Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Aug. 10 is the filing deadline for
many local offices in smaller cities as well as
school boards.
- Oct. 4 is the last day to register
to vote in the general election. Kentucky does
not have same-day voter registration.
- Oct. 26 is the last day to apply for
a mail-in absentee ballot.
- Nov. 2 is Election Day. Polls
will be open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
